This book convicted me in a way I haven't felt for a long time. Suffice to say, June's wisdom both on her blogs and in this e-book inspire me to be a better mother. I've spent more time talking with my children, loving on them and just being with them since reading this book. I heartily recommend it to every mother who desires to please the Lord in her motherhood!
This book reflects the gentle, encouraging admonition toward intentional mothering that I have come to expect from the author, June Fuentes.
Using the Bible as her basis, she lifts high the calling of motherhood and doesn't just cast a vision for women, but gives practical how-to's as well such as creating a good environment in your home and I love the advice she gives to grandmothers as well!
June's heart for home life shines through as she seeks to encourage women to love their children and their roles as mothers. Her book, True Christian Motherhood, would be a delight for anyone, young or old that aspires to be the best mom possible.
I have been reading June Fuentes' blog, A Wise Woman Builds Her Home, for about a year and it has been so incredibly encouraging. Recently June wrote True Christian Motherhood, and I had the opportunity to review it.
This little book may be small on size but it certainly packs a lot of punch. June covers everything from having a peaceful home to discipline to submission and more. Each chapter is small enough that True Christian Motherhood could be used as a daily or weekly devotional with questions at the end of each to contemplate upon.
True Christian Motherhood is perfect for individual use but also for group study, as seen with the True Christian Motherhood Facebook Discussion Group. This group has been a wonderful blessing to me and so many others over the last few weeks. I have been challenged and encouraged on a daily basis, and have met some wonderful women of God.
This book is a true gem, Biblically sound and I highly recommend it for all Christian moms, young and old, to read and apply to your life! You will not be disappointed.
True Christian Motherhood is a lovely guide for moms in all walks of their Christian faith. It touches on the struggles and joy while being encouraging and guiding. The book is a breath of fresh air to women who want to embark on walking in the Spirit. You will find victory through the pages as you read. It shows you how to honor the Lord through honoring your role as a wife and mother. Very well written and beautiful layout. I highly recommend it.
True Christian Motherhood is all the encouragement a mother need to turn her heart to God and do her role, her amazing role of a mother.
You will love this book, so easy to read, even with you have lots of little one distracting you, you'll have time to read those little chapters, and felling refresh afterword.
How much a blessing is to have Mrs Fuentes, a real Titus 2 words of wisdom written down for us to read.
What could be different about encouraging moms today? This book will answer that and more! Full of biblical wisdom and convictions that pack a soft punch, this book will get you motivated to raise your children with a strong biblical soundness. Mrs. Fuentes has packed each chapter with some hard-hitting issues that we all could benefit from. Conservative or not, we, as Christians, really cannot deny that we should be raising our children to be followers of Jesus Christ! There is no straddling the fence! June's words of wisdom should ring true in every home! I highly recommend it!
Wow! This is a fantastic book! I thought I knew what Miss June was going to tell me about being a mother. But she took it to the depth and levels that I have never gone before. The chapters are short and sweet, the discussion questions are challenging, and I have learned so much from her experience and wisdom. A must read for all mothers! It is inspiring. It has certainly challenged the way I have been a mother thus far, and has opened my eyes to good and bad things within our family, and where change is needed. Thank you Miss June.
